Hyatt Carmel Highlands Rooms

It’s very clean, comfortable and quiet. It was nice that you could have both fireplace and air condition on in the winter time. Room is big and bright with nice view.

The view and the staff were the only amazing parts of our stay

Outstanding location. Great view from our room and from the restaurant. Food in the restaurant was good.

My reservation king bed with ocean views. But my room feels like garden view.

The location, view, and service was exceptional.

Staff was disrespectful. Did not provide us w the room we paid for. Did not communicate w us prior of our visit that the pool and work out room were unable. No bell hop service. Site manger refused to meet w us to discuss the poor customer service and discuss poor conditions of the property. We will not be staying at a Hyatt resort in the future as a result of our experience.

Location and view

View was amazing!

Room was comfortable but was nothing special.

The view from out sea view room was fantastic, as is the view from the restaurant where we had breakfast. Watching whales while having breakfast was a first.

The view was beautiful.

The views are spectacular, as the location of this property is worth its weight in gold. We were married here 31 years ago when the property was cared for, when ownership had pride. The property was built in 1917 and you would have never known it then.

The service there is bad

The views from the breakfast room were good but this was outweighed by the negatives of the hotel.

Views, clean rooms

It was a real disappointment. I booked a ocean view room. We couldn’t see the ocean, but just the white fog. I asked if the weather was normal at the end of july: fog and 12 Celsius degrees. They answer it is always like this, and just a few days of the year you can actually have no fog… the pool is closed but you wouldn’t use it anyway.. it’s too cold! It seems a November weather.. the only positive thing was the breakfast! Really good!

fantastic views and fantastic staff. The restaurant had amazing views over the Pacific with wonderful food options. Upon checkout they collected our cases from our room and even place them inside our car without being asked which even involved opening the convertible top to fit one suitcase onto the backseat.. I would highly recommend this hotel

The view is amazing and the restaurant was excellent

The view was great. The lounge and restaurant had great views and excellent drinks and food. The fitness center was well outfitted.

Location, historic, staff

Spa tub and ocean view, both were excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. Enjoyed my stay immensely.

Beautiful view from out comfortable room. Loved the fireplace. The location as stunning- close to everything. Enjoyed the weight room too.
